Cheo Veo means in the middle of the hill, and as its name suggests, the bar is in a very unique position, with the terrain between the hill and the front overlooking the valley. Address: 116 Hung Vuong, Ward 11, Da Lat City. You can search it using Google Maps, from Hung Vuong main street to address 116, you will look to the right and there are 3 alleys to go, then you will see the bottom alley, the downhill path, which is the alley that you have to turn when you want to come to Cheo Veo Coffee. Go about 70m and you will see the parking lot of the coffee shop. There’s an older buncle in front who’s holding your motorbike.

We arrived and were impressed the first time it was the slope that went down to Cheo Veo Coffee. On the top of the slope, there’s a big sign that says: Cheo Veooo Coffee Shop. Then you will go down to this “legendary” slope that is very unique, the slope is made of stone into steps, I think that is the highlight of the coffee as its name suggests. After going downhill, you will see a coffee shop, which is a wooden house on the back of a hill with a view of the valley. Just down the slope, you will see the sign written on it with the content: Opening hours: 7:30 AM -8:00 PM, you find the right front seat for you, then order water at the counter for you. And I’ve been told by the waiter that you just leave your bags and items at the table because the shop has cameras, so you won’t be afraid of losing your stuff. These really cute words made me very impressed when I got here.
We went around to see the space of the coffee shop because we came here at about 9:00 AM, the coffee shop was quite crowded, and we decided to choose a place on the second floor of the bar with a view from the balcony overlooking the front valley. Then I ordered water at the counter, the drinks here ranged from 45,000 VND to 60,000 VND, the average price compared to other bars, and I chose the peach tea for 60,000 VND, with the glass very big and super delicious, it made me addicted to this dish so that when I went to other coffee shops, I still ordered peach tea. And my friend ordered ginger tea for 45,000 VND.
We came here at quite a beautiful time so the atmosphere was quite wonderful, suitable for drinking a glass of water, watching the blue sky, watching the hills covered with green trees, and immersing yourself in this perfect space. If you come here in the afternoon, around 4:00 -5:00 PM, you will see a beautiful sunset view. In the afternoons when it rains in Dalat, Cheo Veo Coffee is also an ideal cloud hunting site for you in the early morning the next day.
The coffee shop is vintage style, all decorated very nicely, and the tables and chairs and items are wooden, the music in the shop is also very chill. The bar also has two pretty fat dogs and they look very cute when they look sagging on the wooden floor. Although the bar space is not spacious, therefore, when you come here, you will feel extremely cozy, both enjoying a good cup of tea and watching the view of the mountain and canopy right in front of you, blending in the typical fresh air of Da Lat city with the temperate climate and chill according to the quiet music, come to Cheo Veo Coffee once to enjoy all these special things.
